About Me.

HI! I’m Adam, a Senior Product Designer based out of Cincinnati, Ohio living with my beautiful wife Stephanie and our two Boston Terriers: Floyd & Maple. I’m a born tinkerer, IPA enthusiast, sports fanatic, and low-key gamer. My current game of choice is Rocket League, which my wife thinks I’m slightly addicted to. While growing up, I had a total of ten broken bones: with both thumbs and wrists twice. Some having better stories than other. (Ask me about my infamous monopoly game).

Research & Strategy

UX Design

Conducting & facilitation workshops, user interviews, and journey mapping exercises to design strategy are just a few I focus on.

Design & Alignment

UI & Design Systems

Audit Inventory, workshops, brand & tone, color, typography, spacing, and documentation allows teams across the org to properly align.

Inclusion & Diveristy

Accessibility

Defining accessible palettes, building semantically correct components, and running audits to help build accessible products.

Build & Deploy

UI Development

Accessible semantic HTML, most current CSS specs, custom responsive framework are just a few pieces to a successful product.

Passion

The best thing about me is I’m a born tinkerer. I love to understand how things come together from a research, design, and development standpoint. This allows me to always be learning since within the digital environment. They’re always need and exciting frameworks and methodologies showing up every couple of months giving me the ability to learn every chance I get. Learning not only from a technology standpoint but learning and understanding what users think, feel do while interacting with website and mobile application makes my day-to-day work much more exciting. Learning and experimenting have been the driver of my career and it will continue to push me to become the better product designer.

Accomplishments

My career is forever growing — I’ve had the opportunity of helping companies understand their digital landscape, allowing them to become more aware of how their users have a direct impact on their product or service. I’ve worked with financial institutions, aligning their design teams on best practices and design strategy. Taking those principles, I’ve had the pleasure to implement those principles into design systems that are fresh and new to those that need a refresh. I’ve worked alongside healthcare networks running accessibility audits, defining accessible palettes, building proper accessible components, and teaching them how to shape a define the how they can be more compliant from a WCAG 2.0 standpoint.
